You can do it. It is only a little longer and if you can do your best you will feel so much better in the end.
My biggest tip is to drink a LOT of water. Every time you feel hungry don't eat any thing until you have finished 1 bottle of water and waited your half an hour. The water works to help fill you up and if that doesn't work at least it delayed the eating a little (therefore you have less time to have another snack). Also, although some people hate this I did a lot of "diet" foods during this time. It was my way to be able to eat more often and not consume too many calories. Once I got a little restriction I dropped most of the diet foods (unless I really liked them).
Good luck and remember you can do this for a week!!
So sorry you're struggling. Where are you on the fill schedule? Try to get in for one if you can. Good restriction really helps.
Next take a look at why you're eating. Have you denied yourself beloved foods and now you're binging as a result of the deprevation? If so, look at your food plan and figure out how you can incorportate all of the foods you love. We should be able to eat all foods in moderation.
Do your best to stick to the good bandster rules: eat when you're hungry, take small bites, chew thouroughly, be aware when you eat, stop when your full. Try to eat healthy foods when you can. Eat the protein first, veggies next, carbs & fats last. Incorporate snacks if you need them.
Don't beat yourself up for the slips. It happens. You can move on. Take those little cuties for a walk!
Hi Janet! TJ sent me over. I was banded in June and have struggled with the hunger. I finally got some restriction with my second fill, I have my third scheduled for tomorrow. You will make it another week. I head to postpone my third fill 2 weeks and these past two weeks have been hard. You are doing well with your weight loss. I know that it seems slow, but one day you will realize that the weight is GONE! NEVER TO RETURN!
sorry to hear this! take a deep breath-remember your goals and that we believe in you!
