Did you realized that stressed spelled backwards is dessert? Am I the only one that finds this correlation ironic? Well, another day is upon us and I am alone at work. One co-worker leaves at 2am, one is out sick and my supervisor is out on a FMLA. The phone keeps ringing with people calling just to worry me with things that they should be keeping up with themselves. AAAGGG!!! Anywho, my work is piling up and I am getting further behind. Why am sitting here blogging you ask? Well, if they are gonna take an hour for my lunch then I am gonna sit here and look stupid for an hour. On the bright side, I did make some good food choices today. I had cheerios with blueberries and soy milk. I juiced an apple, carrots, cherries, blueberries and an orange. I ate low-fat chicken salad, a spinach salad with almonds, cherries, carrots and shredded cheese and yogurt for lunch and an orange and banana for snack. Just in case you were wondering, blueberries don't juice very well in the juicer. They might work better in a blender or a commercial grade juicer but the Juiceman Jr, didn't do too much for them. Well, lunch is now over and I must get back to work, the crazies are calling me. Have a great day!

Welcome Followers!
Holy Crap! I have followers! I am so excited! I never dreamed that someone other than my dogs would be interested in what I have to say. Welcome to my new followers. Let me see, I want to say something witty and informative but nothing is coming to mind... I am still in a holding pattern waiting for all my insurance hoop jumping to be completed but that will take until April. Until then I am making better food choices and trying my hand at yoga. Yes, yoga. I have netflix and let me tell you it is the greatest thing since sliced bread. You can rent dvds and keep them for as long as you like. They even have exercise dvd's. I currently have Yoga with Megan Garcia, Just My Size. It is great. If your a nexflix customer and are waiting on this dvd well, it's gonna be a bit longer wait. Sucks to be you. (hee hee) Anywho, Megan is great. She tells you where to put your boobs, your belly whatever and she really understands because unlike those other fitness instuctors she actually has them! Well, that's about it for me today. TTFN!

Rolling thru January
Well, January is almost halfway over and I am still plunking along. I am not dieting because those don't work. I am however making better food choices and so far I am doing really well, if I do say so myself. I have given up sodas, coffee, sugar and in general junk food. Not to say that I will never eat them again but for now I am abstaining and to be honest I am not really missing them. I thought the cravings might be bad but not really. Maybe I have made it thru the rough parts and it will be smooth sailing from here on out. I hope. I am getting closer and closer to getting my band and I am soooo excited. I am 4 months into my 7 months with insurance. I have my 5th month scheduled for February and that just makes it seem so much more real. Well, lunch is over and time to get back to work. Hasta la vista!

Welcome 2010!
Well, we survived another year. The girls and I missed the big peach drop (again) we were completely tuckered out and went to bed about 10pm. Oh, well, I hope that's not an indication of what the new year holds for us. I am so ready for my surgery. I know I harp on this all the time but man, I am READY! I am trying to make better food choices, drink more water and less soda or coffee, take my fiber and fish oil supplements and hard as it is exercise. I would like to say it's a four letter word but it's actually eight letters so it must be really bad. (hee hee!) I took the girls for a walk and then I came home and did a yoga video that was actually doable! It's called Just My Size Yoga with Meagan Garcia. I love it! Now if I can just stay motivated with this or some sort of exercise program. Well, that is about all to report on for now. I'm looking forward to 2010 and all that it will bring!
